Our iconic women’s Balmacaan Coat achieves next-level indulgence this season in a limited edition iteration, made with 51% Donegal cashmere fibre. We combine our finest wool yarns with luxe cashmere and create a traditional Glen Check pattern with rust and olive hues. Our AW24 collection, Soft in the Wild, celebrates the soft yet rugged qualities of the beautiful Scottish countryside. This year’s Balmacaan is imbued with a touch of that landscape, thanks to the earthy tones of this archive-inspired design.

The first Balmacaan Coat was created in the 1880s for a country estate near our Scottish weaving mill. Our take on the design has a contemporary silhouette, and each piece was woven using UK-made natural wool yarn.
